Frequently asked questions
How do I bring in data from Excel?
Select the range including headers in Excel, WPS or Google Sheets, copy and paste it into the data box; tabs are detected automatically, and CSV or comma- or semicolon-separated text works too. Thousands separators, currency symbols and percent signs are removed.
Is there a watermark? Can I put it in PowerPoint?
No watermark. PNG exports at twice the chosen size and SVG is vector, so both stay sharp in PowerPoint, Word or print; you can also copy the image and paste it directly.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Data is parsed and drawn in your browser. A share link carries the data after the # in the URL, which is never sent to the server; only people with the link can see it.
Grouped or stacked bars?
Use grouped (side-by-side) bars to compare series directly; use stacked bars to show totals and their parts. Stacking is more compact with many series but middle segments are harder to compare precisely.
When should I use a horizontal bar chart?
When category names are long (product or country names) or there are more than eight categories, horizontal bars read better, especially sorted by size.
