How to create a QR code

    1. Choose the content type and fill in the URL, WiFi, contact or other details.
    2. Under Design, set colours, module and corner styles, and optionally add a logo and frame text.
    3. Check the scan warnings, download SVG or PNG, and test with a phone before printing.

    QR code content formats

A QR code only stores text; the phone decides what to do from its format. Use the right format and a scan joins WiFi, saves a contact or opens WhatsApp directly.

    Choosing the error correction level

Higher levels survive more damage or covering, at the cost of a denser pattern. A logo covers the middle, so the studio switches to level H automatically.

    Error correction
    LevelRecovers aboutUse for
L7%Long content, clean print, no logo
    M15%Default; most URLs and cards
Q25%Outdoor and packaging that may wear
H30%Required when a logo sits in the middle

    QR code print size guide

Rule of thumb: the code should be about one tenth of the scanning distance and no smaller than 2 cm. Longer content means denser modules and a larger print; test with two or three phones before printing.

    Frequently asked questions

How should I enter the number?

Enter the full international number with country code, for example +86 186 xxxx xxxx. The studio strips spaces and the plus sign to build wa.me/86186xxxxxxxx.

    Do the QR codes expire?

No. These are static codes: the content is inside the code, never routed through our servers, valid forever with unlimited scans. Use a dynamic QR code if you need to change the destination or count scans.

    Can I use them commercially?

Yes: free, no watermark, commercial use allowed. Your logo is composed in your browser and never uploaded.

WhatsApp QR code generator practical guide and common questions

What does a WhatsApp QR code generator do?

WhatsApp codes use the official https://wa.me/number?text=message link: digits only with country code, no plus or leading zero, and a URL-encoded message.

Who is this for, and when is it useful?

Exporters and shops serving overseas buyers who want a WhatsApp chat started from trade shows, cards, packaging or the website.

How do I use this WhatsApp QR code generator?

Enter your WhatsApp number with country code and a prefilled message to get a wa.me code that opens the chat in one scan.

How should I interpret the results?

The number must be a full international number registered on WhatsApp; businesses should use WhatsApp Business, and the buyer still taps send.

Where is the work performed, and which services receive data?

The number and message are encoded in your browser and never uploaded.
