World clocks, time zone conversion and meeting comparison in one page
A single fixed time difference is not enough for international communication. The customer’s location, meeting date, daylight saving rules and date changes all affect the result. Check the live city cards, then compare a fixed meeting instant to reduce ambiguity about dates and time zones.
Plan a cross-time-zone conversation in three steps
- Choose your reference zone and check the customer city’s local time, UTC offset and relative difference.
- Enter a meeting instant with an offset and check each city’s date and previous/next-day indicators.
- Use the working-hours reference to shortlist times, then confirm the customer’s calendar, holidays and availability.
Frequently asked questions
Which countries and cities does the world clock show?
The page immediately shows live digital clocks for New York, Los Angeles, London, Berlin, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney, Dubai and New Delhi. No input or generation is required. Add Paris, Singapore, Toronto, São Paulo, Mexico City, Auckland, Seoul or Johannesburg, or remove cities you do not need.
How do I convert Beijing time to US, UK or German time?
Select Shanghai as the reference time zone to compare other cities with Beijing time. To plan a meeting, enter an ISO time with an explicit offset, such as 2026-10-15T09:00:00+08:00. Every card shows the local date and time for that same instant. The US spans multiple time zones, so confirm the customer’s city.
Who benefits from this time zone meeting planner?
Ecommerce operators, independent website teams, B2B sales, customer support and distributed teams can plan calls, check overseas market times and verify meeting dates across midnight. The tool does not read customer information, request location access or submit meeting inputs to a server.
When is a suitable time to call overseas customers?
Cards indicate local daytime, weekends and a working-hours reference. The reference assumes Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00 local time. It does not include public holidays, breaks, Ramadan, shifts or personal schedules. Compare a fixed instant for all participants, then confirm the date, city and time zone in the calendar invitation.
Where does the world clock get its time, and how accurate is it?
The current instant comes from your device clock. Time zone conversion uses the browser’s Intl implementation and IANA time zone data. This page does not synchronize time over the network and is not an atomic clock service. Device settings and browser updates affect results. For precise timing or critical operations, synchronize the device and verify the relevant official or calendar system.
Why does the time difference between New York and Shanghai change?
Some regions observe daylight saving time, and local policy can change time zone rules. The tool uses browser rules for the selected instant instead of assuming one fixed difference all year. Choosing another meeting date may change UTC offsets and relative differences. Keep your browser and operating system up to date.
Why must a meeting time include Z or an offset such as +08:00?
A date and clock time alone do not identify a time zone. During daylight saving transitions, local clock times can repeat or not exist. Including Z (UTC) or an explicit offset fixes one unambiguous instant. Meeting inputs support 1970–2100 and reject dates without a time zone, invalid dates and leap seconds.
Do clocks keep ticking after I fix a meeting instant?
No. Applying a meeting instant freezes every card at that same instant. Changing the reference zone, switching between 12- and 24-hour display, or adding a city does not change it. Select “Back to live” to resume per-second updates. Updates pause while the tab is hidden and realign with the device clock when you return.
