Write actionable product documentation for cross-border businesses
The product description template includes specification tables, application notes, inquiry requirements, and delivery checklists. Replace placeholder parameters with verified data, distinguish rated values, test conditions, and pending items, then share with procurement or technical teams. The FAQ template emphasizes actual policies and evidence, avoiding fabricated certifications, warranties, or shipping commitments.
Common Syntax Cheat Sheet
# Heading 1**Bold** and *italic*[Link text](https://example.com)- [ ] Task item```json code block ```[^1] and [^1]: Footnote textTables use vertical bars to separate columns, placing a divider in the second row --- | ---. Nested lists require indentation. Code blocks need three backticks on a new line; language can be specified for syntax highlighting.
Quick Actions
Ctrl / ⌘ + Z to undo, Ctrl / ⌘ + Shift + Z to redo, Ctrl / ⌘ + F to open editor search; the panel can toggle the replace feature. Modified content will prompt for confirmation before applying templates, importing, or clearing; replaced documents can also be undone.
Safe Preview & Export Scope
Original HTML is not executed; outputs are sanitized and free of executable scripts. Remote images show placeholders by default and are accessed only when explicitly enabled. Standalone HTML exports use static document styling without site ads or editors; Word documents are not generated, nor are math formulas or chart syntaxes disguised as rendered graphics.
Frequently asked questions
Which Markdown syntaxes are supported?
Uses markdown-it to parse common CommonMark syntax, supporting tables, strikethrough, nested lists, task lists, footnotes, and code block highlighting. Raw HTML is displayed as text; scripts, iframes, or arbitrary HTML are not executed. Math formulas, Mermaid, or Word file conversion are not provided.
Will documents be uploaded? Where are drafts saved?
Editing, parsing, previewing, and exporting are completed entirely within your browser, with no documents submitted to this site. Drafts are not saved by default; when "Save local draft" is checked, documents are saved in plain text in this browser's local storage. Unchecking it or using "Delete draft" will remove it. Do not save sensitive documents on public computers.
Why aren't images displaying in Markdown?
Image requests are blocked by default to prevent accessing third-party image URLs upon opening documents. Checking "Load images in document" triggers browser requests to external image hosts, which may expose connection details like your IP address. Only HTTP/HTTPS images are supported; exported HTML retains current image settings.
Can I copy it to Word, Feishu, or other editors?
“Copy Rich Text” copies sanitized HTML and plain text; pasting results depend on target editor and browser clipboard support. Markdown and HTML files can be downloaded directly; for PDF printing, use the browser print dialog and select "Save as PDF".
What are the limitations when importing or replacing documents?
Imports UTF-8 encoded .md, .markdown, or .txt files up to 1 MiB per file and 200,000 UTF-16 code units per document. When existing modifications are present, applying templates, importing, and clearing will require confirmation; the editor supports undo and redo.
Does the preview match GitHub or publishing platforms exactly?
Markdown extensions, styles, and security policies may vary across platforms. This workbench provides secure previews and standalone HTML exports; you should still inspect tables, code, links, and images on the target platform before publishing.
